Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide a positive representation of Boss Man Design Centre
• Proactively assist customers in solving design obstacles
• Greet and interact with customers throughout the store
• Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor, work well with customers and associates
• Ensure all calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively
• Forward customer complaints to management
• Possess knowledge of products, store layout and product location
• Assist in quoting products and projects

Store Operations:

• Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment
• Assist with receiving and stocking store merchandise
• Assist with daily maintenance, cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area
• Ensure signage throughout the store is current and up to date
• Operate forklift with proper training (Training will be provided)
• Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to management
• Be professional in appearance and actions
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Other Essential Requirements:

• Occasional travel for trade and home shows

Education / Training:

• High School or equivalent experience
• Retail experience is an asset

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 60 lbs.) and climbing

• 15 - 25 hrs./week
